During the key events of Rail Budget and General Budget, viewers spent maximum time (36 minutes) on Zee News that provided them up to date information of the proceedings live from the Parliament.

Zee News has maintained its lead due to its detailed and analytical presentation of budget. The detailed report on the impact of budget on the common man provided an edge to the channel above Star News, India TV and other channels in the genre.
