The Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) has announced five new corporate members from India, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the US. Out of the two corporate member sign-ups from India is Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. The other is intellectual property rights specialist law firm Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co.

The other new members are Taiwan cable operator Fu Yang Media Technology, Hong Kong-based technology advisory group ITSun and US-headquartered DTH satellite operator ProtoStar, which has an Asia-Pacific regional focus.

CASBAA is a non-profit organisation promoting the use of multi-channel television and data transmission via high speed cable and satellite networks throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
