Vikas V Sarangdhar has joined the corporate office of the Essel Group as Executive Vice-President – Group Strategic Sourcing. He will be working out of Mumbai and will report to the Chairman.

Vikas will be responsible to take forward the Strategic Cost Optimisation initiative being carried out in the sourcing operations of the Essel Group, along with WIPRO Consulting. He will work under the guidance of Ashok Goel – the project sponsor of the initiative.

Vikas is an engineer and also holds an MBA degree. He comes with an experience of 14 years in the area of strategic sourcing and business process re-engineering. Prior to joining the Essel group, he was associated with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
