Lubna Khan from New Leaf TV, Mumbai, is thrilled. Her documentary film – Pehchaan – on the life of children of commercial sex workers of Pune has won an award for ‘Best video production of the year (2006) by an amateur film maker’ from UGC-Consortium for Educational Communication, Delhi.

What more? The documentary has also been shortlisted for International Cultural Exchange (ICE) 2007 – a festival on digital short films, in Pune. Thirty three films have been shortlisted for ICE 2007.
