The finals of Zee Kannada’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will be held in Bangalore on May 6, 2007. While the event is sure to crate a buzz, here’s what is in store for the winners. The winner drives away in a Santro car along with gold worth Rs 15,000/- and a golden opportunity to cut an audio album. The runner-up gets a cash prize of Rs 50,000/- and gold worth Rs 10,000/-.

More than 5000 people from across Karnataka have auditioned for the music talent hunt show. Out of them, 52 people have performed on Zee Kannada, during the elimination rounds, over the last eight months. Based on the SMSs received by the viewers and the judge’s decisions, Chinmay of Bangalore and Soumyasree of Chitradurga have emerged as the finalists.

“Zee Kannada’s Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa has not only gained immense popularity in Karnataka, but also in other States and countries. The over one and a half lakh SMSs received for a single episode is testimony to this popularity,” said Anup Chandrasekharan, Business Head, Zee Kannada.
