Zee Talkies, the new baby from the Zee stable, has received the Information and Broadcasting Ministry’s green signal, to uplink the channel. Zee Talkies will telecast Marathi cinema.

On the occasion of the platinum jubilee of the Marathi cinema industry, we have the opportunity to support Marathi cinema and take it to newer heights. We have catered to the Marathi audience’s appetite for quality entertainment. Zee Talkies is a step further in this direction,” stated Nitin Vaidya, EVP (Regional channels – Marathi, Bangla and Gujarati).

Zee Talkies will provide a proper distribution network and adequate promotion to Marathi cinema.
