KIDZEE to go to rural areas

Jun 21, 2007

Zee Interactive Learning Systems Ltd (ZILS) has plans to take its playschool brand – Kidzee - to rural areas. KIDZEE will tap semi-urban and rural centres with a ‘grahmin’ model school.

ZILS is also working on promoting Kidzcare, the daycare facility, and Kidzee High, the full-scale school with CBSE curriculum. ZILS has signed up to start 25 Kidzee High schools out of which eight will be operational this year. A Kidzcare centre is already functioning in Bangalore.

KIDZEE already has 550 play schools in 260 locations accounting for an annual student strength of 50,000 and employing 2,000 trained teachers.
