Zee Kannada finds a pride of place in the Limca Book of World Records for its unique handkerchief campaign in support of the Indian team in the Cricket World Cup- 2007. The channel's record breaking feat is mentioned under the 'The Biggest and the Smallest' section.
The campaign was launched in February 2007. The Zee Kannada team travelled across Karnataka to over 50 schools, 25 colleges, IT companies, NGOs, Media houses, malls, institutions, shops and succeeded in collecting over 55,000 signed hankies expressing support to the team, thus creating the world's longest chain of signed handkerchiefs.

Prominent signatories being Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra; followed by the then Chief Minister H.D. Kumarswamy; the then Deputy Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa; the then Home Minister M.P. Prakash; Infosys Director-HR Mohandas Pai; and Olympian Nisha Millet.
Anup Chandrasekharan, Business Head, Zee Kannada, said, "We at Zee Kannada strive to do things differently and do the best.
