| There has to be a contrast mood as compared to our routine work area. Hence i would suggest that light music would make the difference. And i think we already have the provision for the same. So just play it. Pls.Thanx. |

| It is observed that most of people don't check what they want to have or not, during food serving, and waste food, which go to the dustbin.By running " No Food Wastage"drive in Cafeteria, we can create awareness among the employees, to reduce unnecessary wastage of food. |

| It has been observed that plain papers are being wasted while doing photocopy and printing, if possible use both sides of the paper will defintelty save the cost and save trees. |

| Atleast Basic neccesities like Table Salt and Pepper should be available on the Lunch Tables. They are missing from the DISH TV old cafeteria since the new building has come up. Is it that care is taken only for NEW things, but we must not forget, Old is Gold. I hope I am not demanding much. |

| I have the rare privelege of living very near to my office - so i go home for lunch every day - to enjoy hot and steaming food!!Anyway a canteen should have the ideal ambience for employees to feel relaxed , enjoy watching television and enough place to eat food and chat /discuss . The place should be clean and neat and carry a aura of feeling at "home" !!!Suitable changes in menu to bring in variety of snacks for hungry evening biters would result in efficient work during after office hours by employees catching up with work deadlines and result in a win win situation |

| During my last visit in Feb 08 - the cafeteria seemed dull and lack of light.Some vibrant colors are definately required here. |

| The canteen is the place where people socialize in their office, this is where people take a break from work and try to ease out and de-stress. This is also the first place where the first signs of frustration of the "JOB" are revealed with complaints of the food and service not being right.The first thing required for our canteen is space, lots of space so that the mind can think clearly. Colours enrich the thinking process with the right combinations. Instrumental music has been scientifically proven to trigger the grey cells to work better. Good food, not stale or cold food, livens the mood to work. |

| The office cafeteria is observed to be always crowded... There are breakfast meetings that happen to discuss their day ahead, there are many people who land staright into the cafeteria to have either breakfast or their morning cup of coffee/tea... I must say with all this and more, we are suffering from severe space crunch. I think we should not allow people with their lunch boxes (especially during the lunch time) to eat there because this takes away the space for people who depend on the cafetria lunch. We could also have a better bulletin board which is more chirpy. Coming to the food, i think it's high time we change the caterers. Chinese is not Chinese... It definitely cannot be prepared the South-Indian way and called 'Chinese'... and this was just an example... the same goes to the so-called 'soup'. Wake up people... its better late than never! |

| I think we should have quick snacks like Maggi in the cafeteria. The things that we get served for breakfast is also repeated for evening snacks....people get bored of the same food all the time!!! Also there should be variety items for lunch and not the same dal |

| Think our cafeteria needs to be more lively in terms of atmosphere and more gastronomical in terms of food. Because after working hard one needs a cool break!!!!!!! |

| There should be options for lunch i.e Low calorie food apart from regular food.This will people to control their diet and reduce the waiste lines to look good and energitic.It will also increase the effeciency at work. |

| The service level of the cafeteria is going down , they need to employ additional staff. This is a major problem at the sandwhich counter , order for sandwich is more but the person making is only one this delays the employees time. Also since last one month I have observed that at 1 clock they are not ready with the food and hence there is a huge queue , this also results in waste of time. Hence my suggestions is they should employ additional staff so that our employees can get the stuff on time and they can get back to work on time. |

| I would like to add one more very important point, which I forgot to do in my previous response... SMOKING should not be permitted inside the cafeteria... firstly because, why dirty the air where you eat and drink? Secondly because the whole place stinks and at one point, one dies to rush out and get some fresh air to breathe. Please put up 'NO SMOKING' boards in the cafeteria. |

| hi all , i support to all the points mentioned by my friends above .but its very surprising that nobody spoke about the quality of food provided by the canteen .The quality of the food is not good at all . I think we need a major change in the canteen . Also smoking should be completely banned during breakfast n lunch hours... thanks |

| Many colleagues are pissed off because of office canteen food quality. Many of them bring tiffin from home or other catering services. We should have couple of microwave systems and compatible plates in canteen to make the food items hot. Thank you. |
