Zee Kannada hopes to create a revolution in election coverage, by adding a touch of glamour to statistics. When the much awaited Karnataka election results are telecast on Sunday, celebrities will be rubbing shoulders with analysts on the Zee Kannada screen.

Two of Karnatakaís most well known comedians, Sadhu Kokila and Richard Lewis will take the center stage to bring in the fun element to the coverage which otherwise is lacklustre.

That is not all. The recent hype about cheerleaders has spread even to politics. Every time a candidate wins, the cheerleaders will spice up the show with comedy, music, dancing and of course a lot of cheering. The jubilant mood of the show is infectious and will attract the entire family to watch the results together.

The seven hour marathon live coverage of the election results from 7 am is sure to bring in a new dimension to the world of news coverage. The way the content shifts between political analysis and entertainment, is the key factor that will keep the viewers glued.

Three cheers to innovation.
