Deepak Chandnani is WWIL’s new CEO

Deepak Chandnani has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Wire and Wireless (India) Ltd. Chandnani will be based at the company headquarters in Mumbai.

Chandnani comes with 27 years of wide experience in the consumer non-durable, consumer banking, technology and B2B led industries, across leading organizations. An Economics Graduate from St Stephens College and a Management Graduate from IIM, Ahmedabad, he started his career with Cheseborough Ponds & Hindustan Lever in the sales division. He went on to become the General Manager (Marketing) for Ponds India.

Chandnani has held leadership roles in Citibank India and was later the first Country Manager for Yahoo India. Chandnani has also had an entrepreneurial stint in between his corporate roles. Prior to joining WWIL, he was the Managing Director, NCR India.

Speaking on his appointment, the Chairman Subhash Chandra stated, “The diverse experience Deepak brings to WWIL, both as a leader in the corporate sector and as an entrepreneur, will provide a big boost to the growth plans of the company. We are confident that his leadership skills and consumer orientation would build on the lead that WWIL has created so far.”
