Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) is pleased to announce the debut of Zee Thirai, a new movie channel on Singtel, beginning March 3rd 2023, and is set to connect with the pulse of Tamilians and their love for cinema.

About Zee Thirai

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd's Tamil Movie Entertainment Channel, Zee Thirai, premiered in 2020 and serves as a one-stop destination for Tamil Cinema fans globally. The channel will be offered on Singtel, Singapore's popular Pay TV platform with over 200 entertainment channels. With films spanning genres such as comedy, action-thriller, drama, horror, and more, Zee Thirai hopes to shift the focus from the 'what' to the 'why' of cinema by providing a platform to present some of the best work from the Tamil Film Industry. The channel offers a varied choice of films from the industry's best actors, with over 400 films in its repertory that includes Mersal, 2 Point O, Valimai, Maa Manithan, KGF 2, Radhae Shyam, Kurup amongst others. 

The brand motto "Rathathil Kalandhadhu Cinema," which translates to "Cinema runs through our veins," reflects the emotion and influence that movies have on Tamil audience, as well as its ability to fuel the heroic spirit in people.  Mr Sanmesh Thakur, EVP & Territory Head - APAC, further comments on the launch “We are thrilled that with the introduction of Zee Thirai on Singtel in March 2023, our viewers will be treated to the finest of Tamil cinema.
