ZEEL has announced a Group Medi-Shield Insurance Scheme for all ZEEL employees and consultants, through a tie-up with IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company Ltd. (ITGI)
The policy covers the employee, spouse and two children. Separate dependant parents may also be covered at the employee’s cost, at discounted rates, under a separate policy.
The coverage under the Medi-Shield Insurance scheme includes pre-existing illness cover, maternity benefits and new born coverage.
The medi-cards issued will identify the employee as the beneficiary of ITGI and will give him access to a network of hospitals
In the event of hospitalisation at a network hospital, the treatment will continue without demands for a deposit or payment of bills up to the guaranteed amount, except for some tertiary care hospitals (which will ask for a nominal deposit). In case of a non-network hospital, intimate the insurance agency within seven days from hospitalisation and submit necessary documents for claim.
ZEEL employees and consultants will receive their medi-cards along with the list of cashless hospitals in India within the next ten days.
