You may be aware, that with various systems of education present today, there are numerous options for a student at the High School level. There are various national and international boards in India, offering curriculums like IBDP/ A Level / HSC /ISC. However, not every board suits every student and many factors can determine which would be the best possible choice. So, how do parents select the one what would be best suited for their child?
We understand that the pressure to make the best decision can be a daunting process. Therefore, we would like to help parents make that informed choice through an engaging seminar with Ms. Mona Seervai who will guide parents to answer some key questions while addressing pre-conceived notions about the various educational boards based on experience.
About the Speakers:
A veteran in the field of education and regarded amongst Mumbai's top educationists, Ms. Mona Seervai brings with her over twenty-five years of experience in school education and has served in an honorary capacity on the IB Asia Pacific Regional Council for Heads from 2014-2016. She works with the International Baccalaureate as a Consultant, Workshop Leader and a School Visit team leader. She brings with her a broad spectrum of experience of teaching various educational boards like ISC, A Level as well as IB, and it is her mission to introduce best practices of education in India.
Ms. Suzanne Patel holds a double Masters in Business Management and Advertising as well as a Post Graduation in Education Management. She has worked with international schools offering the IGCSE, IB and A level curriculum since the last 13 years in the capacity of both, a teacher and administrator. She is also an IB Examiner for Business Management and Extended Essay. She has attended IB and CIE Training programmes and is well versed with the international curriculum. She believes that schools must prepare students for life beyond the classroom.
