Starting November 18, 2007, Zee Cinema brings The Showman Show - A Subhash Ghai Film Festival. Every Sunday, the festival will showcase the film-maker and his larger-than-life cinema.

Over the years, Subhash Ghai has become synonymous with grand cinema. He has inspired generations of filmmakers through both his films as well as music as is evident by the latest blockbuster Om Shanti Om which pays tribute to him.

“Indian Cinema has so much to thank Subhash Ghai for. Ghai is one of the few film-makers who has enriched the canvas of Indian cinema through films that have withstood the test of time, characters that live on in our hearts even today and music that has been a timeless rage. Zee Cinema salutes the showman with this show,” stated Mohan Gopinath, Business Head, Zee Cinema.

The festival began with the musical classic Karz. In the weeks ahead, you can look forward to Ghai blockbusters like Khalnayak, Ram Lakhan, Taal, Pardes, Karma, Hero, Yaadein, Trimurti and Saudagar.

Tune in to The Showman Show on Zee Cinema, every Sunday at 8.30pm.
