WWIL staff bat on different pitch

A friendly cricket match between the employees of Wire and Wireless (I) Limited, was organised on March 29 at Azad Maidan. The players from WWIL were divided into two teams; Team A and Team B.

It was a 15 overs match which started at 10.30 am. Team A captained by Rahul Shah won the toss and elected to bat. Team A was all out in 14th over with 82 runs on board. Gopal Gavade from Team A was the highest scorer with 20 runs.

After the break, Team B came on the pitch for batting. After facing initial hiccups with a good bowling spell by the opposite side, Team B managed to surpass the score of 82 and won the match with one over to go.

Team A was represented by Rahul Shah, Santosh  Mohanty,   Sandeep Deshmukh, Sanket Sawant,  Rhushikesh Dandekar, Sumit Gawand, Manoj, Gopal Gavade, Vaibhav Dandekar and Sidharth Gaikwad.
