Zee Media always strives to express its gratitude to the people who serve the society, city and country at large. The campaign Dhaga Shourya Ka, Rakhi Abhimaan Ki is one such initiative by the channel through which we wish to show our sincere gratitude to the soldiers of our country who are the real heroes in the true sense. The campaign invites more than 100000 school children from across Maharashtra to write a letter to these soldiers and to express their heartfelt gratitude towards them. School children, celebrities and other prominent personalities have also written letters to the soldiers which symbolizes the Rakhi, since these soldiers protect the country and its people the way 'Rakshabandhan' symbolizes the Raksha provided by brothers to their sisters.
The campaign was flagged-off on 13th July 2017 in Mumbai by popular Marathi actor Swapnil Joshi which was followed by various celebrities and prominent personalities endorsing the campaign by writing letters to soldiers.
These schools were provided with boxes at their premises to collect these letters. The letters were then collected from all centers between 25th July to 30th July, 2017. Zee 24 Taas' crew will travel to Poonch, Rajauri and Gulmarg in Jammu & Kasmir to handover these letters to the commandant officers at the select Army Centers. Few letters will be read out there to have the reactions of soldiers on this encouraging initiative, in return, the soldiers will also write few letters to acknowledge the love and gratitude shown by the students.
These heart touching moments will be captured and telecasted on the day of Rakshabandhan i.e. 7th August 2017 on Zee 24 Taas.
