Zee Anmol continues its winning streak at the Rural Marketing Forum & Awards

Zee Anmol was awarded with the 'Organisation with Best CSR Practices for Rural Development' Award at the prestigious platform this month.

Zee Anmol, India's leading FTA (free-to-air) television channel, has added another feather to its cap. Staying true to its proposition Dil Chhoo Jaye, Zee Anmol has always strived to touch the nation's heart by creating a connect with the audience and reaching out to them through on-ground activations and campaigns. Last year, the channel was awarded the 'Social Development Campaign of the Year' for its 'Khushi Ki Boondein' campaign at the Rural Marketing Forum & Awards. Keeping up with this trend, this year the channel has managed to impress the jury panel with their 'Gyaan Vruksh' campaign and has been awarded the ´Organisation with Best CSR Practices for Rural Development' at the recently held Rural Marketing Forum & Awards on 14th February 2018 in Mumbai.

The winning entry 'Gyaan Vruksh' was a special campaign activated in 20 villages across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The research and development team used a three-pronged approach comprising of recce, installation and inauguration. The channel worked very closely with the panchayats in these villages to create a platform called 'Gyaan Vruksh', a LED-illuminated area, powered by solar batteries for school kids to prepare for their exams during load-shedding hours at night.

The campaign received rave reviews and the efforts were applauded by the audience and the Rural Marketing Forum & Awards' jury for reaching out to areas deeply affected by load-shedding.
