ZEE Biskope's Maai Ke Din #MaaiKeNaam soared emotions high; Mother & Child duo got a luxury experience in Mumbai

In a never seen before feat, ZEE Biskope launched a heart-warming campaign #MaaiKeDin on Mother's Day to recognize and acknowledge the silent contributions of the unsung heroes – our mothers. The brand launched three category first initiatives as part of this campaign. While at the brand pillar, it dedicated its own identity to mothers by giving birth to ZEE Maaiskope for a day, on the content side, it gave viewers the opportunity to select their mother's favourite movies. 

As the engagement pillar, it launched a contest Maai Ke Din #MaaiKeNaam inviting viewers to share videos of them doing the regular household chores while giving their mothers a day off.  Thousands of videos reached ZEE Biskope's Whatsapp number. Each of them showed how dedicatedly and passionately the young viewers responded to the call of giving their mother's a day off and making a meaningful contribution on Mother's Day. While some washed clothes, some cooked for their mothers, some did the dishes, yet others did a combination of many household chores to ensure their mothers enjoy the day of their own. The videos were filled with emotions that demonstrated the love that young viewers have for their mothers. The contest even extended to the channel's distribution partner networks. The top 3 videos from among the viewers and the best video from among those shared by distribution partners were adjudged as winners. They were invited to Mumbai for a celeb-like luxury experience along with their mothers. What happened next was best answered on 22 May between 12 – 6 pm as the channel showcased glimpses from the winner's gratifying experience.

The winners of Maai Ke Din #MaaiKeNaam are:
  • Sachin Kumar with mother Gita Devi from Saran Chhapra, Bihar
  • Rishabh with mother Rashmi Singh from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
  • Sahiba Ekram with mother Bibi Nargis from Bhagalpur, Bihar
  • Jyoti Kumari Jha with mother Baby Jha from Sitamarhi, Bihar
The winners were flown to the city of dreams - Mumbai in an all-expense paid trip where the duos experienced luxury of a lifetime. The day started with them getting groomed at a popular salon chain in Mumbai. Manicure, pedicure, facial, haircut, hair styling and basic make-up were among the grooming that the duos received. Once their makeover was done and they looked dazzling and bright, they were all set for a tour of Mayanagri Mumbai. They started the tour with the auspicious Siddhivinayak Temple visit followed by beach visit & lunch at Girgaon Chowpatty. While dipping their feet in the shallow waves at the beach, they were elated splashing a handful of water at each other. Hungry after the beach expedition, they were treated with Mumbai's famous beach-side delicacies Pav Bhaji and Vada Pav along with a bite of the Kala Khatta (ice candy). The next destination was Queen's Necklace – Marine Drive. At the dawn of sunset, the long Promenade of Marine Drive was a mesmerizing experience as the winners sat by the Arabian Sea enjoying the skyline and the music of the waves. The winners were then headed to the historic and picturesque Gateway of India. While experiencing the breezy sunset, they captured beautiful moments in the backdrop of Gateway of India & Taj Mahal Palace Hotel that would be framed in their memory for eternity. 

Elated on coming to Mumbai for the first time and enjoying their maiden flight, Bibi Nargis, mother of Shaiba Ekram, exclaimed, “When I told my neighbours about participating in Maai Ke Din #MaaiKeNaam contest, all of them told me that I shouldn't expect to get anything. However, I ended up being selected as one of the winners. We never thought that we would sit on a flight and come to Mumbai to tour the city. Now I will go back and tell my neighbours how ZEE Biskope fulfils what they promise. I thank ZEE Biskope very very much.”

The duo's wonderful voyage was rounded off with a fine dining experience at one of Mumbai's posh star hotels. Before enjoying a 3-course meal at a special banquet reserved for them, the dous also got to interact with channel authorities sharing their experiences and emotions. Thanking ZEE Biskope for the experience, Rishabh Singh's mother Rashmi Singh stated, “We made it to Mumbai as winners and got a great expedition in the city along with a fine dining experience. Thanks to ZEE Biskope. Please keep giving your viewers such golden opportunities.” That was however not the end. They were greeted with a mega gift hamper from ZEE Biskope with an assurance that the channel will bring forth many such opportunities in the future for its viewers to connect with the brand and enjoy Bhojpuriyat. 

Sharing his excitement about winning the contest and experiencing Mumbai at its finest, an ecstatic Sachin Kumar said, “I keep participating in Zee Biskope's interesting contests regularly and finally I won Mai Ke Din #MaaiKeNaam contest. I was pleasantly surprised with what the channel offered. My mother watched her favourite movies on the channel the entire day, while I did the household chores. The two of us had a gala time in Mumbai. We thank ZEE Biskope from the bottom of our hearts.” Keeping similar emotions, Jyoti Kumari Jha said, “We were actually treated like celebrities. We didn't have to wait in queues anywhere and got to enter through VIP gates like celebs. We absolutely loved it and enjoyed a lot. Thanks to Bhojpuri's No 1 channel – ZEE Biskope.”

With yet another successful campaign, ZEE Biskope promises to continue its mission to engage and entertain their viewers in a manner that sees them celebrate Bhojpuriyat at its very best.
