Zee goes FTA in Indonesia

“Cinta Bolly” which means – “Love for Bollywood” is the new FTA channel launching on 1st November 2020 in Indonesia. The channel is a partnership between Zee and PT. Lejel Homeshopping, a Korean home shopping network that initiated the Home Shopping business in Indonesia more than 20 years ago. With the tagline “Semua untuk Anda” which means “All For You”, the channel will definitely quench the thirst for Indian content to the local Indonesians and serve as a good complement to Zee Bioskop, Zee's Pay TV channel.

Cinta Bolly will be airing Bollywood Blockbusters and Classic Movies every day.

The daily diet will range movies of Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra to Shah Rukh Khan & Aamir Khan as well as Hema Malini and Sridevi to Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai.

Handpicked Drama series from the Zee library will be airing during the weekdays with an omnibus on the weekends.

Content of Cinta Bolly is purely from the vast library of Zee comprising of dubbed and subtitled movies and drama series.

Marketing will be a joint effort by both partners. The channel is available on Telkom satellite on test basis since 16th October 2020.

PT. Lejel Homeshopping is a Korean company running 7 FTA channels with other partners. 3 of the channels are airing locally produced Indonesian movies and dramas, while 4 channels are in partnership with Korean production house airing Korean dramas and web dramas. Cinta Bolly is Lejel's first association with Indian content.

We started talking sometime in 2018 and I am glad that we finally completed negotiation and is launching the channel on 1st November 2020.
