Zee Institute of Media Arts - Master Class Session graced by actor Mr. Rakesh Bedi

The ever-green actor, Mr. Rakesh Bedi, visited ZIMA – School of Film & Television, Mumbai, for a Master Class Session on Friday, 25th of May 2018.

Mr. Bedi is a graduate of acting from the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune and has been active in films, TV and stage as an actor and director for over four decades now. Chasme Baddoor (1989), Ye Jo Hai Zindagi (TV – 1984), Shriman Shrimati (TV – 1995) and Yess Boss (TV – 1999-2009) have been his notable roles. He is known for his realistic portrayal of characters.

The Master Class commenced with the screening of his 1981 classic Chashme Buddoor, followed by an interactive Q&A session between Mr. Bedi and the students.

Mr. Bedi shared his valuable insights with the budding actors, directors, film makers, cinematographers of tomorrow. He covered various topics, like talking about the basics of acting, to changing times and trends, typecasting, and various other topics. He emphasized how this art can be mastered with the right approach.
He also took a tour of the Campus. Mr. Rakesh Bedi shared that his visit to ZIMA was fruitful and he loved interacting with the students. He gave his best wishes to the present students, after our Business Head Mr. Praveen Gadelli presented him a token of appreciation.

ZIMA, part of Zee Learn Ltd.  is a twelve-year-old entity that extensively offers courses in Film, Television & Journalism (TV, Print and Digital). The duration of these courses ranges between 3 to 12 months with exclusive internship opportunities with the Zee Media Group.
