Zee Talkies chi Wari Pandharichya Dari bags multiple awards at Global ACEF Awards & Media Brand Awards 2023.

The channel won a bronze at the Media Brand Awards 2023 in the category 'Best Out of Home', while at the Global ACEF Awards, Zee Talkies won a gold in the category of 'Events' and bronze in the category of 'BTL',  for the campaign 'Zee Talkies chi Wari Pandharichya Dari'. 

Zee Talkies took part in the 21 day Pandharpur Waari. The 21 day procession started on 20th June from Pune and ended on 10th July at the Vitthal temple in Pandharpur, on the auspicious occasion of Ashadi Ekadashi. 

ZEE Talkies participated in the Wari in an unique way last year. Zee Talkies built a custom 10 ft murti of Vitthal and Rukmini, which travelled with the Wari. The 15 ft  Murti on the canter traversed over 250 kms in the wari from Alandi to Pandharpur. Over the span of 21 days, Lacs of people visited the canter daily to get a glimpse of the murti and multiple took selfies with the larger than life Murti of their beloved gods.

Nachu Kirtanche Rangi, a contest active on ZEE Talkies and ZEE Chitramandir for the 21 days of holy month of Ashadhi, received over 95 lac cumulative calls from around 11 Lac unique consumers, setting a new record. 

A contest was run during the 21 days of Ashadhi, in the kirtan time slots. Every hour, 1 question was asked and the viewers had to give a missed call on one of the 2 numbers to submit their answers. 

The contest had a unique gratification for its viewers, where 120 viewers stood a chance to win a unique Murti of Lord Vitthal Rukhmini through which one could play and enjoy Zee Talkies Kirtan anywhere anytime. During the contest period, Channel received multiple mails from its viewers praising the show and showering their love on this unique Murti.

Multiple newspapers & electronic media in Maharashtra covered the ZEE Talkies Canter in their news, over the period of Wari. ZEE Talkies wari host, Swati engaged with the warkaris and in the night Warkari's performed Kirtans in front of the Murti. While in the daytime, warkari's thronged the canter to click pictures at the canter.

Prominent politicians and celebrities visited the canter, including Nana Patole, Shahaji Bapu Patil, Kartiki Gaikwad, Ashwini Mahangade, Dnyaneshwar Meshram, to name a few.

In the concluding days of the Wari, ZEE Talkies setup a kirtan stage at Pandharpur for their Kirtan loving consumers where lacs of warkari's flocked to the ground to witness the euphoria of performance by renowed Kirtankars.

On the programming front, ZT created a special program “Hari Mukhe Mhana” which was aired exclusively for 21 days of the Wari period. Famous Kirtankar Maharaj recited Haripath which bought the recitation to every household in Maharashtra. Additionally the channel, concluded the festival with spiritual high note, airing a special 3 hour kirtan episode by Indurikar Maharaj, one of the most loved Kirtankars of Maharashtra and beyond.

Man Mandira and Gajar Kirtanacha are top 2 kirtan based shows on ZEE Talkies and ZEE Chitramandir, where top kirtankars perform high on energy original kirtans for their audience. The shows have over 5 years of legacy and lead in their respective time slots. Man Mandira and Gajar Kirtanacha are aired during the early morning hours on all days of the week & 5-6 pm from Monday to Saturday respectively.

The TVR of original episode slot from 6 -7pm for Man Mandira grew by 44% compared to Pre-Wari period with average reach of 1.4% during this slot. In the same duration, the TVR of original episode of morning Kirtan show 'Gajar Kirtanacha' which airs at 7- 9 am grew by 21%.

Zee Talkies has always tried to find the pulse of its audience and stay connected with them. And in it's 15 year long journey, it has become the No.1 go-to channel for Marathi Movies. By introducing original kirtan shows it has connected with the audience at the grassroot level.
