Zee Talkies quelled the storm and rose to becoming the No. 2 Channel of Maharashtra with 153 GRPs (145Mn impressions), giving the leading GECs a run for their money. Zee Talkies boastfully presented a show “Manmandira – Gajar Bhakticha” which created a tornado in Maharashtra and delivered momentous average rating of 1.96 TVR (1.86Mn impressions). With the launch of this show the channel became a slot leader in the 6pm to 7pm slot.
“Manmandira – Gajar Bhakticha”, a new show launched on 25th June, showcases Kirtankaars from various parts of Maharashtra who perform soulful Kirtan. The on-ground event of this show received a jaw dropping attendance of 15000+ audience every single day for a month. These numbers a true indicator of the escalating popularity of Zee Talkies in Maharashtra
The current channel strategy has created a lot of affinity amongst the channel audience, thus making it the No.1 Time Spent Channel among all movie channels in Maharashtra. The channel reaches out to 35.4Mn viewers on a weekly basis making it the second highest reach Channel in the Marathi genre.
