The MOST Awards are inherently an annual measure of the service efficacy of media owners in the South African Media Industry. The Bollywood flash mob, courtesy of Zee World lit up the evening for the 600 guests at the 9th annual MOST Awards held on14th September at the Wanderers Club, Johannesburg.
The primary objective of the MOST Awards is to recognise and rank South African based media owner sales teams and their media agency partners in terms of the service that they provide to each other.
ZEE being the only Indian media owner was privileged to have sponsored the key Bell Award handed out by CEO of Zee TV Africa, Harish Goyal.
Harish Goyal, CEO of Zee TV Africa says, "Zee World is proud to be associated with the MOST awards and believes strongly that exceptional service performance in the media landscape should be recognised and lauded, hence our sponsoring of the Bell Award."
The Bell Award acknowledges an individual with a stellar track record of contribution to the sector and was given to Jonathan Shapiro, otherwise known as the cartoonist Zapiro (the R.K Laxman equivalent of India), known for using his ever-sharp pen as a weapon to parody, lampoon and ridicule people in power.
