ZILS gets ISO 9001 certification

Jun 15, 2007  Zee Interactive Learning Systems Ltd (ZILS) has achieved the ISO 9001 certification accredited by the British Standards Institution (BSI) for its remarkable quality practices to design and deploy educational content. The Quality Management Systems followed in ZILS designs and develops educational content and deploys it through multiple delivery mechanisms. To qualify for certification, a tedious task was undertaken for an eight-month gestation process that included system study, quality management system development, a management system documentation and review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard. The process culminated in a comprehensive registration audit by BSI India. The ISO 9001:2000 certificate of registration ensures that ZILS can consistently deliver products and services that meet customers' quality and regulatory requirements, while enhancing customer satisfaction and sustaining performance improvements in pursuit of such objectives. “This ISO 9001:2000 certification demonstrates our commitment to quality.
