Zindagi wins 'Best Launch of a Channel' Award at E4M's Prime Time Awards

Zindagi has always had a set of loyal TV audience that strongly missed the stories it brought to life. Hence keeping in mind the existing love and support for its content, and also turning it into a business opportunity, Zindagi entered the TV space, yet again, but this time in the form of a Value Added Service on DTH. On 23rd May 2022, Zindagi partnered with the leading players in the DTH industry, Tata Play, Dish, D2H and Airtel to launch Zindagi on TV, naming the property as Tata Play Zindagi on Channel no. 154, Zindagi Active (Dish and D2H) on Channel no. 117, and later on Airtel Zindagi Channel no. 102 respectively. This one-of-a-kind service showcasing message-driven stories was priced at Rs.75/month.

To kickstart the campaign, Zindagi designed different compelling promos that displayed the core offerings of Zindagi. Sizzle Promo, Fawad Khan Special Promo, Movies Promo, Renowned and Popular faces Promo and Show Line-Up Promo and more. Zindagi's audience is a big fan of the dashing Fawad Khan, hence the Promo was designed to draw the true Fawad Khan fans. These promos worked as a strong display of how Zindagi is back with a bang. 

On social media, Zindagi built a strong campaign exploring different spaces in the thriving digital space. Entertaining and popular influencers and platforms like The Scribbled Stories were roped in for a fun video activity. With the help and collaboration of DTH partners, the communication travelled wider on social. 

For PR, Zindagi headlined the front page of Hindustan Times on the launch day and the announcement was amplified in key PAN media. Besides, a large spread interview in Midday and Dainik Bhaskar of the leading lady of Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Sanam Saeed was published, where the actor expressed her excitement of Zindagi's launch on TV. 

Talking about the win, Shailja Kejriwal, Chief Creative Officer, Special Projects, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, said, “At Zindagi, we have always aimed to deliver quality and entertaining content to our audience. The response on social media to this news of Zindagi coming back on TV was overwhelming both – in terms of numbers and audiences reaction. The service now stands at a strong subscriber base and continues to have strong spike in the subscription numbers every month.  

Zindagi is available on channel no 154 on Tata Play, 117 on Dish TV and D2H & 102 on Airtel.
